10 Week Update

House Training and Socialization

All of the boys are taken out upon awakening, after each meal, and every other time that we are able. We are having a lot of success with pottying outside and offer each an abundance of praise when we see this occur. Our other goal is to socialize the puppies as much as possible. Daily, they now play with both of their parents, they play with “Uncle Smokey” our Miniature schnauzer. Together, they play with sticks, run faster than what seems possible with their little legs, and roll around until their next nap. They are also interested in admiring our chickens through hardware cloth and listening to all of the chicken’s unfamiliar sounds. The puppies are always supervised as toy breeds should be as they are in danger anywhere that there are birds of prey.
